“It’s the little things we do that mean anything.”
You know what i really love about champion irish dancers? They have realistic bodies. They put muscle before thin, and i just really love that
I’m in need of new softshoes! The ones i have now are the hulluchan pro ones, and unlike popular opinion i don’t really like them. They seem to tear easily and every pair i’ve had have given me problems. Things i like in softshoes are narrow, good arch, and a tougher leather hard to break in! I need them to really last, what ones do you all wear?
First off thank you all for liking my hard work!
For those who are asking about how i did it, first you have to get your normal split. I practice mine everyday. Once you can go into a split all the way down AND you’re comfortable, try placing little things under you front foot. I started with a dictionary first, and once you get comfortable with that, then move to something slightly taller!
My personal goal right now is to do it with my front leg on my bed, halfway there!
Tir Na Greine performing for St Margret Mary! From left to right (girls in solos) Molly, Siobhan, Colette, Sarah, Eamay, Colleen, Heather, Courtney, MG, Samantha, Emily, Me!, Natalie, Ms. Laura~TC, Morgan, Amanda. From left to right (girls in school dresses) Megan, Shannon, Aidan~my little sister. And the boys, Alex is the little one and Christopher is the older one :)
I recently broke in my new hardshoes which caused some terrible blisters. The blister scars are still there and i THINK i bruised something in my right heel. There’s a really bad pain whenever there’s pressure on it, and it feels like a bruise. My mom said maybe it’s to do with the bone? What do you guys think, and if it is a deep bruise what should i do about it?
